I live in Grand Rapids with my husband Lance, three kids; Jane, Charlie and Maggie, and two dogs. In addition to being a certified personal trainer I am also a Registered Nurse, working at Centre for Plastic Surgery, and a fitness instructor at Alkalign studio in Ada. All of this enhances and brings balance to me as a mobile personal trainer. I believe fitness means many things to many people. For me fitness means mental, physical and spiritual well-being. I believe in a well balanced lifestyle focusing on activities where I move in all planes of motion. Nutrition where the focus is on hydration, whole grains and fruits and vegetables with well balanced meals and snacks to fuel the body. Most importantly mental/spiritual well being means eliminating or decreasing the stress in my life through challenging movement, accountability, and time with my family.
